A mom dies after her disabled car is struck along the 60 Freeway

A 31-year-old Perris woman died on the evening of Sunday, March 25 when her Ford Taurus was struck along a portion of the 60 Freeway that runs through Chino. The incident occurred just before 7:45 p.m. in the eastbound shoulder of the freeway, just before the Central Ave. exit.

Do you have grounds to file a wrongful death lawsuit?

Have you lost a loved one in a vehicle accident, medical malpractice or a workplace accident? If it was another party's reckless, negligent or deliberate actions that led to the fatality, your natural response might be to want to hold that person responsible for your damages -- even though no monetary award can undo your loss. You might have grounds to file a wrongful death lawsuit.

Wearing a helmet greatly reduces your neck and spine injury risk

A recent analysis of medical records of motorcycle crash patients previously seen at the University of Wisconsin Hospital (UWH) points to just how important wearing a helmet can be to preventing the most severe types of neck injuries.

How often and why do school bus accidents occur?

On any given school day, some 500,000 school buses will take to the road to carry as many as 25 million kids either to or back from school or to other extra-curricular activities. Although they carry so many kids to and fro, you rarely hear about catastrophic school bus accidents.

SUV crash is less likely to be fatal than a small vehicle crash

If you ask many sports utility vehicle (SUV) owners whether they're confident that their cars would protect them if they were to become involved in a crash, you'd likely hear a resounding "Yes." Many believe that the fact that SUVs are large is one thing that they have going for them that passenger cars don't.

How often does road rage result in motorist injuries and deaths?

Public service announcements (PSAs) you see on television or billboards often focus on those who choose to drive under the influence of alcohol or who enjoy texting while driving. These PSAs often focus on discouraging motorists from engaging in these behaviors if they wish to avoid potentially fatal collisions.
